Initial Consultation: The production process begins with an initial consultation, where 1BENMU’s design experts will discuss your custom wood slat headboard needs, preferences, and budget. Our team will take measurements of your bed to ensure the headboard fits perfectly.
Headboard Design: Our designers will create detailed drawings and collaborate with you to ensure that the design meets your needs and preferences. We will also offer suggestions on the size, spacing, and finish of the slats to create a unique and personalized headboard.
Fabrication: Once the design is finalized and approved, we will begin the fabrication process. Our skilled craftsmen cut and shape the materials according to the design plan, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the process. We use only high-quality wood, including walnut, red oak, white oak, maple, and more, to ensure that your headboard is not only beautiful but also durable and long-lasting. During production, we can also provide you with photos upon request to track your order’s progress.
Quality Inspection: After fabrication, the headboard undergoes a quality inspection to ensure it meets 1BENMU’s highest standards. We examine the headboard to ensure it is free of defects and meets the specifications outlined in the design plan.

Custom wood slat headboards require proper care and maintenance to ensure they stay beautiful and last for many years. Here are a few tips to help maintain your headboard:
Avoid Water Damage: Exposure to water can cause damage to the wood, so be sure to avoid cleaning the headboard with water. If water is spilled on the headboard, be sure to wipe it up immediately to avoid any damage.
Use Soft Brushes for Cleaning: When cleaning your custom wood slat headboard, use a soft-bristled brush or a clean, soft cloth to gently remove dirt and dust from the surface. Avoid using any abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes that can scratch or damage the wood.
Keep it Dry: To prevent warping or cracking, it is important to keep the headboard dry. Be sure to maintain proper ventilation in the room and avoid exposing the headboard to excess moisture or humidity.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Exposure to direct sunlight can cause the wood to fade or discolor over time. Avoid placing the headboard in direct sunlight or in areas where it will be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Apply Protective Coating: To protect your custom wood slat headboard from wear and tear, consider applying a protective coating or sealer to the surface of the wood. This will help prevent damage and extend the life of the headboard.
