Get in Touch and let’s talk about your oak countertop.
Oak Countertop is highly durable and strong wood and it is our second most popular choice after the butcher blocks made of walnut.
Its grain pattern is quite unique and gives a lot of character to design or space which makes it one of the easier species to recognize.
Although there are more than 600 species of oak trees, the most common species are red and white oak.
The main difference is that the white oak countertop has a light brown colour and red oak a pinkish colour.
White Oak is exclusive wood and that is why we recommend keeping its natural beauty.
On the other hand red oak is more affordable and it is the best choice if you want to apply stain on it.
1) Use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe down the oak surface.
2) Always use coasters and never place hot food directly on the countertop.
3) Avoiding any direct contact with the sun or heating sources.
4) Use Beeswax approximately every 6 months to renew, protect it from drying, cover scratches, give a nice healthy glow, improve colour and restore the natural beauty of the oak countertop.
