Our Team is dedicated to deliver a perfect product every time and provide you with the peace of mind you deserve when you purchase at 1BENMU. Our handmade furniture in Toronto and woodwork in the mill undergoes high standards of quality control inspection before leaving our Studio. If you have any questions or concerns about our terms and conditions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The beauty of the wood furniture is that every piece is different and there are many imperfections in the wood. It is at 1BENMU management discretion to re-do, re-work, re-stain and re-build a piece based on these anomalies. If you need to modify your order, have questions, concerns or not satisfied with your purchase, we are always here to help. Once you decide what exactly you are looking for, we will finalize and place the order. Our goal is to complete your custom furniture as soon as possible, so we will process it on the same day. If your piece of furniture arrives in damaged or less than perfect condition, please get in touch with us. Our Customer Service Experts will take care of you!
NON REFUNDABLE ITEMS
Given the custom nature of our business, items cannot be returned or exchanged, including the handmade dining tables, handcrafted dining chairs and any other customized furniture produced by us. 1BENMU management may approve refunds or cancellation on a case-by-case basis.
We would like you to feel at ease that you are getting a great offer when buying from 1BENMU. We offer a 15-day price match. Should our Furniture & Design services go on sale within 15 calendar days of finalizing the order, please contact us and we will issue you a store credit for the difference.
We only use the highest grade material, therefore, we offer a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers defects in workmanship. This warranty does not cover the effects of regular wear, and damages due to a lack of proper care. In addition, it doesn’t cover defects or damage resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, abnormal use or modifications. If you notice a manufacturing defect immediately upon receiving your item, please let us know.
1BENMU accepts cash, cheque, and e-transfer as valid methods of payment. Our customers must pay 50% to place the order. You should provide the payment in full before we ship out the furniture by all the options mentioned above. 1BENMU reserves the right to alter the payment policy at the discretion of management.
PICK-UP & DELIVERY
You can choose to pick up the furniture pieces from our studio located at 1710 Midland Ave, Scarborough. In that case, clients are responsible for the handling and transportation, including loading, unloading and assembly. 1BENMU assumes no responsibility for any injuries sustained or damage done to the product while being picked up by a client.
We can also ship the products to your place. The starting price for delivery (excl. tax) is $15 for small items, $75 for coffee tables & benches and $150 for tables, depending on the size of the product and the location of your house.
The assembly in Toronto is FREE of charge for some product (check the description or simply give us a call). Please contact us for more information. While we can ensure the products will arrive in perfect condition, it is the client’s responsibility if the furniture does not fit inside the house and that is why the measurements in advance are important.
